Terms and Conditions – Adaem Tours
Welcome to Adventure Ride. By booking a tour or transfer with us, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. These terms are designed to ensure a safe, enjoyable, and clear experience for all our clients.
1. Booking and Payment Policy
- Booking Confirmation: A booking is considered confirmed only after the required payment (deposit or full payment) has been successfully processed. We offer both online and cash payment options. For online bookings, confirmation is instant upon payment.
- Deposit Requirement: To secure a reservation, a deposit of 30% of the total service cost is required at the time of booking.
- Final Payment: The remaining balance is due on the day of the service, prior to its commencement. Our representatives will coordinate the collection of the final payment.
- Payment Methods: We accept online payments via PayPal, which allows you to use your PayPal balance or major credit cards. Other payment methods are available for the final balance settlement on-site.
2. Cancellations, Refunds, and Changes
We understand that travel plans can change. Our policy is designed to be as fair as possible.
- Cancellation by the Client:
- Cancellations made with more than 72 hours’ notice before the scheduled service time are eligible for a full refund of the amount paid.
- Cancellations made between 72 hours and 24 hours before the scheduled service time will receive a 70% refund of the amount paid (a 30% cancellation fee, equivalent to the deposit, will be retained).
- No refund will be issued for cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, or in the case of a “no-show” (failure to appear for the service at the designated time and place).
- Cancellation by Adaem Tours:
- Adaem Tours reserves the right to cancel a tour or transfer due to unforeseen circumstances, such as adverse weather conditions, mechanical issues, or failure to meet the minimum number of participants required.
- In the event of a cancellation by Adaem Tours, we will first attempt to reschedule the service for a different time or day, subject to availability and your agreement.
- If rescheduling is not possible or not accepted by you, a 100% full refund of the amount paid will be issued, especially in cases of cancellation due to weather.
- Changes to your Booking:
- Changes to the date of your service are permitted and do not carry an administrative fee, but are subject to availability.
- We understand that unforeseen situations can arise. Please contact us via our official WhatsApp number as soon as possible to request any changes to your booking.
3. Client Responsibilities
- Punctuality: It is the client’s responsibility to be at the designated meeting point at the scheduled time. Delays may result in the loss of the service without the right to a refund.
- Physical and Health Conditions: Clients are responsible for ensuring they are in adequate physical condition for the activities they book. For certain excursions (e.g., Buggy, Horseback Riding, Saona Island, and some aquatic tours), participation is not permitted for pregnant women. Clients will be asked to declare if they have any relevant medical conditions during the booking process.
- Behavior: We reserve the right to refuse service to any person under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or who exhibits disruptive or unsafe behavior, without the right to a refund.
4. Scope of Services
The price of each service includes only the items explicitly listed in the “What’s Included” section on the service’s page. Items not listed are not included, such as, but not limited to: gratuities for guides and drivers, photographs, and souvenirs.
5. Weather Policy
Our services generally operate in light rain. However, the safety of our clients and staff is our top priority. In the event of severe weather (such as tropical storms or hurricanes), services will be rescheduled or canceled. The final decision rests with the Adaem Tours operations team. If a service is canceled due to weather, we will attempt to reschedule. If the client cannot reschedule (e.g., due to their travel itinerary), a 100% full refund will be provided.
6. Limitation of Liability
All adventure activities carry inherent risks. While Adaem Tours takes all reasonable safety precautions, clients participate at their own risk. Adaem Tours is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings (such as cameras, phones, etc.) during any service.
